Eyelash Extensions

Are strip lashes difficult to apply?

Applying strip lashes can be tricky at first, but with some practice, it can become more accessible. Here are some tips to help make the application process smoother:

1. Start with clean, dry lashes: Before applying your strip lashes, make sure your natural lashes are clean, dry, and free of any eye makeup or oils.
2. Measure the lash band: Measure the lash band against your eyelid to ensure a proper fit. Trim the band if necessary, leaving a small space at the inner corner of your eye to prevent irritation.
3. Apply adhesive: Apply a thin line of eyelash adhesive along the lash band. Wait 30 seconds for the adhesive to become slightly tacky before applying the lashes.
4. Apply the lashes: Using tweezers or fingers, gently place the lash band along your lash line, starting at the outer corner of your eye and working your way in. Press down on the band to ensure it adheres properly.
5. Blend in: Use an eyeliner or eyeshadow to blend the lash band with your natural lashes, creating a seamless look.
6. Remove carefully: Be gentle when removing the lashes to avoid damaging your natural lashes. Use an oil-based makeup remover to dissolve the adhesive and gently slide the lashes off.

It may take some practice to master the application process, but with patience and persistence, you can achieve a natural-looking, beautiful lash look. If you're having trouble, consider seeking the help of a professional makeup artist or esthetician who can provide guidance and tips to make the process easier.
